iMPeRFeCT Gallery has decided to extend the 10th Annual Germantown Show one more week, until Saturday, Nov 5, the last weekend before Election Day 👀. In the spirit of doing what we can to rally people to vote on Nov 8, we felt we could use the exhibition as a way of calling attention to this issue and the importance of our vote for democracy.
We are actively putting together plans to do something public on the last day, we will keep you informed, maybe you can make some noise with us!
If you haven’t had a chance to see this powerful, inspiring exhibition, we urge to to visit before it’s too late. If any of the artworks moves you, buy it if you can, it’s the best way to support the gallery and the artists. 😍
Also, join us for a poetry night this Thursday, a collaboration with High School students from Germantown Friends School’s Poetry Club, and on Friday, listen to photographer Shannon Sims in her artist talk, scroll down for more info on these events.

ARTIST TALK WITH SHANNON SIMS
Friday, October 28th
Photographer Shannon Sims will be at iMPeRFeCT to talk about her installation «Work in Progress», an ongoing series representing how abortion bans affect folks’ lives, specially those with ovaries, and the importance of reproductive rights.
Please feel free to stay after the talk, enjoy the 10th Annual Germantown Show in the main gallery, support some artists and maybe even stay for rumba after 8pm, it’s free! 😘 (Donations are appreciated).
Shannon’s actively recruiting women to pose for her project, come hear what it’s all about, if interested, email her at: [email protected]
Rumbas are organic gatherings of musicians and music enthusiasts of many nationalities, all united by their love of this Afro Cuban tradition, practiced all over the world. We drum, sing, dance and share food and drinks. Rumbas are NOT performances, they’re an immersive joyful experience, they’re free and open to the public. Donations are appreciated 🥰
